Briarwood Invitational 2004

Three of the top ten teams in the Northeast will be putting everything on the course as they face each other in the Race of Champions at the Great American XC Festival 10/2, including US#20 Cedar Cliff. And NE#4 Gwynedd Mercy toes the line against NE#3 Hatboro-Horsham 9/18 at Briarwood, while Gwynedd faces unranked St. Basil, which upset Hatboroo 9/3 at the Wood Invite, on 10/2 in the Race of Champions at Great American.

Team Entries in the 9/18 Briarwood Invitational at Belmont Plateau, Philadelphia. NE#8 Chaminade NJ tries to hold off challenges from some of PA;s best in the Championship race. Hatboro-Horsham and Gwynedd Mercy try to get back into stride after early team losses, as Henderson looks to make their own statement.

NE#7 Chaminade came into PA with high hopes, and left with a 3rd place behind a very strong Council Rock North squad and just five up on LaSalle. Just three points separated Eleanor Roosevelt MD from both West Chester Henderson and Gwynedd Mercy. Great Valley girls Unionville boys take DII races, while the St. Hubert\'s girls and Ridgewood NJ boys take the DI crowns.
