Freeport's Dylan Hochbein enters the intermediate hurdles as the strong favorite after running a PA AA #1 of 38.93 to win the District 7 title. The senior should see some chase from a number of hurdlers with sub-40 second potential.

Eisenhower's Noah VanHouten and Everett Area's Tanner Sipes will be among Hochbein's closest challengers. Don't sleep on Raheem Twyman from E.L. Meyers, though. The AA runner-up a year ago hasn't run much this season, but did win the District 2 title in the event with a 39.80. We'll see if Twyman can improve on that and make himself a contender like he was a year ago.
