  • 2015 Girls Team Champion: Oakland Catholic
  • 2015 Boys Champion: Isaac Wilson (North Clarion) - 16:32
  • 2015 Boys Team Champion: Taylor Allderdice - 77 points

BOYS PREVIEW: Some of the top runners from District 10 opened up at McDowell last season. Taylor Allderdice are the returning champions. The District 8 champs have Tavonne Davis and Amadou Diallo, who will look to start their seasons off well. Harbor Creek, Mercyhurst Prep, Bradford Area, and Seneca are all top teams from western PA that opened up here last year. Noah Curtin of Mercyhurst Prep, Connor Walsh of Cambridge Springs, Logan Caruso of Bradford Area, and Ryan Starveggi and Aiden Weber of Harbor Creek will be among the runners in contention for the individual crown.

GIRLS PREVIEW: If they opt to return, Oakland Catholic's Lauren Finikiotis will look to defend her individual and her team will look to follow up its stellar start from last year. Finikiotis is one of the state's top returners. She was a convincing champion at this meet last year. Butler will be a team to watch. After a fifth place finish at districts last year, they'll be hungry to improve this year, led by Maggie Welty. North East ran here last season, so we'll see if the new AA team, led by Taylor Van Tassell, will open up on Saturday.
