Hoey, Devlin win; Rustin boys surprise; Unionvile girls get back on track: Ches-Monts Recap

Aislinn Devlin made it look easy on Monday morning. The PA#1 proved why she is just that, taking a convincing win for her third straight Ches-Mont individual crown. Devlin clocked a 17:43, about five seconds faster than last year at this race. She seized control early on in the race and made it a solo effort from there on out. She talked with us about his fitness after the race:

Unionville looked a little more like Unionville on Monday capturing the team win with 55 points over second place Downingtown East (77 points) and Downingtown West (78 points; without #2 runner Emma Planck). Anna Juul picked up second in 18:23. She wasn't too pleased with her individual performance, but believes based on her workouts that she's ahead of where she was last season.

As for the Unionville team, the usual state powers appear to be rounding into form with the win. Sophomore Madison McGovern was sixth, while Elizabeth Edwards and Jillian Brislin took 11th and 12th respectively. Watch an interview with Juul below:
