1 | York Suburban | Winners in the PTXC Blue Race and then the Foundation Blue Race. They lack a low stick for now, but there is plenty of time for that to change. The YAIA Championships are next up. |
2 | Greensburg-Salem | Mark Brown and Frankie King have done a grea job of leading this squad. We enter the postseason and G-S can certainly contend for a state title. |
3 | Dallas | The defending state champs in AA have been quiet since a third place at the PIAA Foundation Invitational. But keep in mind they were a distant second to York Suburban at Foundation in 2015 before pulling off the state title. |
4 | Grove City Area | After a season where he finished 22nd in the state, Jonah Powell looks even better this year. The rest of the team has shown great improvement and should be a factor come November. Jacob Powell has developed into a solid #2. |
5 | South Fayette | Looked tough defeating Knoch at Mack Cooper. Aaron Pfiel and Sam Snodgrass are a powerful 1-2 punch. |
