1 | Vincentian Academy | We haven't seen a full crew of Vincentian Academy yet this season, but the combined talent gives them the top spot. Marianne Abdalah will provide the low stick, but Katherine Fedko and Marissa Canzian have stepped up, too. |
2 | Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy | The reigning Class-A state champs have had a busy fall, most recently competing at the Manhattan Invitational. That big meet experience will come in handy. Sera Mazza, fourth in the state in 2015, has had a tremendous season thus far. |
3 | Holy Cross | Just getting to the state meet won't be easy for Holy Cross, but if they can get there, look out. Lexi Walsh is running very well and Abby Corrigan has proved to be a strong #2 runner. But they must beat Elk Lake at District 2. |
4 | Elk Lake | Justine Johns and Keri Jones continue to be a strong 1-2 punch. Will it be enough to lift them over Holy Cross to make states, though? |
5 | Marion Center | Overshadowed by SJCA and Central Cambria last year, Marion Center has looked strong this season so far. Taya Whitfield is a solid #1 and the state meet is in their grasps this season with Central Cambria in Class-AA from District 6. |
