Philadelphia, PA - Friends' Central's Avery Lewis did it again, winning the Penn Relays Long Jump Title yet again.

Lewis secured her third straight long jump title on her first attempt at the 2024 Penn Relays, covering 19-8.75 (+0.5).

Wasting no time, Lewis established her dominance in a windy series at Franklin Field. Her fifth jump was her second-best attempt. She covered 19-7 (+0.5), which would have also won the competition.

"I didn't execute the way I wanted to, but I'm happy with the win," said Lewis about her performance.

It should also be noted that Lewis is just off a win last weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays, where she hit her season-best mark of 20-1.5. She also ran a wind-aided 11.21 (+3.4) 100m and posted a 23.55 200m last weekend.

Lilly Ver Beek (James River, VA) and Rohanna Sudlow (St. Catherine, Jamaica) joined Lewis on the podium today at the Penn Relays. Ver Beek was second at 19-2 (+0.4), and Sudlow was third at 19-1.5 (+0.1).
