GIRLS: North Allegheny's Clara Savchik hasn't raced much this season, but she's made the most of when she has gotten on the line.

The junior will likely toe the line for the Tri-State Coaches Association Meet. She was eighth last season at this meet, but she will be the heavy favorite on Thursday after winning at Foundation earlier this season. Her NA team will also be among the teams in the hunt for the team title.

Upper St. Clair's Savannah Shaw will look to contest her, along with Greater Latrobe's Maria Cawoski. Greensburg Salem's Riley Kwiatkowski and the Fox Chapel duo of Sarena Seeger and Annika Urban should also be in the mix.

The team race will come down to North Allegheny, Fox Chapel, Mount Lebanon, and Greater Latrobe in what should be a tight team battle. There are limited state qualifying positions and this could be a good indicator of what's to come next week.

BOYS: There are a number of individuals that will be in the mix for the Tri-States win. Baldwin's Casey Conboy, Mount Lebanon's Bryce Brandenstein, Greensburg Salem's Mark Brown and Frankie King, and Butler's Noah Beveridge will all be among the names that could claim the win. In many ways, this will serve as a great preview for the WPIAL Championships for next week.

The team race will be an exciting one. PA#6 North Allegheny has been strong this season, but the main concern about this squad has been the lack of a frontrunner. They have the small gap and the depth, but do they have the low stick to make them great? PA#9 Seneca Valley beat NA at Foundation and they'll look to prove they are for real with a strong performance on Thursday, Mount Lebanon has also been strong this season. They can contend with those ranked squads, but can they beat them.

In the A/AA race, Greensburg Salem will be a team to watch. They are one of the top AA squads in the state.
