Eastern Pennsylvania Conference (EPC) (Bethlehem, PA)

BOYS: Seth Slavin of Pleasant Valley was second to Easton's Kevin Lapsansky last season, and now it looks like it will be his turn. Slavin will be favored to take his first EPC crown. His teammate Gabe Sullivan has also had a great season and will look to make it a PV 1-2.

The team race should be between Parkland, Easton, Stroudsburg, and Pleasant Valley. All four raced at Paul Short. Parkland had the advantage. Formerly state-ranked, Parkland is led by Hailemichael Geiger and Sam Morgan.

Stroudsburg's Matt Bodon and Easton's Stephen Kraus will be among the others to watch for on Tuesday.

GIRLS: Rasia Kochmaruk of Liberty will go for her third straight EPC individual title in her final try. The senior won as a sophomore and junior and will look to close out her conference XC career strong. It won't come easy for her, though. A trio of Stroudsburg girls will be gunning to take down the champ.

Amy Conboy is having a fantastic sophomore season and has become the 20th-ranked runner in the entire state. Allana Powelette was third at EPCs last year and upset Kochmaruk at District 11 last season. She has the potential to win as well. Michelle Joyce should also be in the mix up front.

Stroudsburg will be the heavy favorites behind that top three. Easton will look to challenge, though Stroudsburg did beat them handily at Paul Short.
