Friends Schools League Championships (Newtown, PA)

BOYS: Nick Dahl will look to win his fourth straight Friends League title to cap off his career in the FSL and his Germantown Friends team is heavily favored to win yet another league crown. It doesn't look like anyone can stop GFS, which has a solid supporting cast behind Dahl. They are the PA#1-Independent Schools squad and they'll look to prove it on Tuesday. Dahl, who didn't have his best day last week in Manhattan will look for redemption at the George School

The George School's Jeffrey Love and Westtown's Ryan O'Donnell will be other runners to watch in the boys' race. Watch last year's Friends School Champs from Westtown above.

GIRLS: George School's Jerrica Bauer had graduated, leaving the door open for a new champion on the girls' side. The favorite this year is Friends' Central's Gabrielle Wilkinson, who has had her best XC season yet this season after a third place finish at this meet last year. She was 13th in the Brown Race at Paul Short a few weeks back and looks primed to take her first XC league title.

Wilkinson's best compeititon should come from her teammate Emily Burd. She took fourth in the league last season. Germantown Friends' Griffin Kaulbach and Friends' Central's Nadia Taranta should also contend.

Friends' Central, PA#2-Independent Schools, is heavily favored for the team crown after winning by five points last season. Watch last year's girls' Friends Schools League Championship race above.
