Lower Moreland's Kerry Kovacs will look to win her second straight BAL individual title. Last year, she ran away with the title, running 19:56 at Tyler Park for the win. Her closest challengers should be New Hope's Julia Mycek (fourth in 2015), Delco Christian's Maggie Linton, and Dock's Lael Flores (third in 2015).

The girls' team race should be a close one. Last year, Dock took the title handily, but they could get a good run for their money from New Hope, Jenkintown, and Lower Moreland.

On the boys' side, Holy Ghost Prep's Callahan Lennon will go for the repeat as well. Lennon won last year in 16:45 before taking the District 1-AA individual crown. He should have some company up front, though, with New Hope's Matt Peshek, Jenkintown's Jack Miller, and Dock's Tim Kennel.

Holy Ghost are the favorites again this season. They won with 20 points last season. New Hope-Solebury has been solid this season so far and could pose a challenge. Dock and Jenkintown should be strong as well.
