GIRLS: Clara Savchik keeps rolling. The junior added her second invite win of the season, winning Tri-States in 18:57 and leading her North Allegheny team to the win.

The top three separating themselves from the rest of the field by quite a margin. Upper Saint Clair's Savannah Shaw continued her strong season, taking second to Savchik in 19:24. Butler's Maggie Welty was third in 19:31.

North Allegheny scored 55 points to beat out second place Seneca Valley (66 points) and Mount Lebanon (74 points). They should be a team to watch at District 7 next week.

Greensburg Salem's Riley Kwiatkowski was the top AA finisher in the field in 20:52. She'll definitely one to watch in AA in states in two weeks. Brownsville's Sara Vance was second in 21:07. Kwiatkowski's Greensburg Salem rolled to the team win in the classification.

BOYS: Noah Beveridge logged another win in his impressive junior season, winning the AAA race in 16:34. He beat out Baldwin's Casey Conboy, who was second in 16:50, and Seneca Valley's Sam Owori, who was third in 16:55, continuing his fantastic season. Freshman Zachary Leachman of Mars Area was fourth.

The North Allegheny boys continued their patented pack running on Thursday and it earned them a win. With a six second 1-5 spread, the Tigers scored 49 points to beat Seneca Valley (who beat them earlier this season at Foundation). SV was second with 67 points, despite Owori and Seth Ketler coming in before NA's first runner. That first NA runner was freshman Daniel McGoey (you might recognize that last name), who was seventh in 17:20.

Butler was third and Mount Lebanon, without usual top guy Bryce Brandenstein, took fourth.

Greensburg Salem dominated the A/AA field for the big win. Frankie King took the win in 17:10 and G-S had the first five across the line to win easily.
