Philadelphia Public League Championships Recap
BOYS: Central took down Masterman yet again for the Philadelphia Public League crown, only this time it didn't require a tiebreaker. Central scored just 21 points to take the win. Skylar Scafidi continued his strong senior season, taking the win in 17:16. Christopher Carson of Central was second and Daniel Bici of Masterman was third.
GIRLS: Masterman's Viki Mancoridis took the Public League victory. She was third last year as her sister Marina Mancoridis won, but Marina took fourth this year as Viki took home the win in 20:20. Central's Emma Helstrom was second and Franklin Towne Charter's Skyler Tomson came across third.
Masterman scored 26 points to take the team title over second place Central (40 points).
