Class-A

South Williamsport's Hunter Crawley will look to make it back-to-back D4-A title, and he's proven he'll be difficult to stop. He most recently ran 16:09 for 27th at Paul Short.

His best compeititon will come from Ethan Knoebel of Southern Columbia, who is having a strong senior season, including an early season win and a number of top tens. Northeast Bradford's Casey Ellis won the North Tier League and will look to keep that rolling into Thursday. Garret Smith will also be in the conversation for NE Bradford.

The team race will be a close one, with only one qualifying slot allotted this year to D4-A. Northeast Bradford has dominated this district since Class-A's creation in 2012 and they'll be the favorites once again this yet, but Southern Columbia can certainly hang after posting a second place performance at Foundation behind western power Winchester Thurston. We're set for a battle and it should be interesting.

Class-AA

It's been quite a season for Jersey Shore's Isaac Davis. The junior is four-for-four this season, winning every race he's entered. The defending D4-AA champ will be favored to make that five on Thursday. Davis should be a major threat for the Class-AA state title, but his first step will be making it through districts.

Loyalsock's Quinn Serfass is having a strong season, too. He was second a year ago and will look to challenge Davis. Serfass has some good big meet expereince this season, racing at PTXC and Paul Short.

Lewisburg's Nick Alico and Anthony Bach and Milton's Tyler Lesser will be among the others to watch. There are ten individual qualifying spots.

As for the two race, we'll have a good race between Milton and Lewisburg. Luckily, they now get two qualifying spots this season, but still we'll get a close battle between those two squads that were seperated by just six points at Shikellamy a week weeks ago. Danville, Jersey Shore, and '15 champs Mifflinburg will be among the teams looking for the upset.
