The state's best triple jumper from this past spring has transferred to a high school in Maryland, according to GameTimePA's Matt Allibone.

Formerly of Gettysburg Area High School, Ravaughn Dillard is currently attending North Hagerstown High School in Maryland. This past May, Dillard won the PIAA AAA state championship in the triple jump for the second straight year. His winning jump of 48-7 was the best jump for the year in the state of Pennsylvania. Dillard is a senior this year.

During the fall, Dillard has played football for North Hagerstown as a wide receiver. During the winter, the 6'3'' Dillard plays basketball.

Dillard won a close competition in the triple jump with Pittsburg Central Catholic's Bricen Garner and Downingtown West's Darian Alston in one of the meet's most hotly contested events.

This makes for the second PIAA AAA horizontal jumping champion to transfer out of state. Nazareth Area's Jahan Dotson, who jumped 24-4.5 to win the state title in the long jump, transferred to New Jersey's Peddie School after his sophomore season.
