Breslin Invitational - Meet Preview
Less than a week after throwing a US#3 and PA#2 in the javelin, Mount Carmel's Maura Fiamoncini returns to the runway for her home invitational. Fiamoncini has thrown 155-2 and 157-5 in consecutive meets and she'll look to continue this trend of steady PRs. Jim Thorpe Area's Brooke Cope is also in the field.
In the sprints, watch for Bloomsburg's Jahvel Hemphill. Hemphill proved at last week's Jim Taylor (Susquehanna) HS Classic that he's got it in him to 4-peat as Class AA state champ this season, running a PA#2 10.69. Can he improve even more on Thursday?
