Molly Dry Memorial Invitational

It was a good day for the girl's jumping events. Breana Gambrell of Athens Area won the long jump with a jump of 18 ft. 9.25 inches and also won the triple jump in 36 ft. 2 inches. Her jump from last week in new York still has her at PA#2. Gambrell also ran a 12.45​ in the 100m dash, which ranks her second in AA in the state with this performance. She was followed closely by Charlotte Neylon of Loyalsock, who ran a 12.71. 

The pole vault was won by Hailey Zurich of Loyalsock Township in a jump of 11 ft. 6 inches. Zurich is now ranked eighth in the state in the pole vault with this jump.

In the field, Jaycee Marinero of Shikellamy won the Javelin with a throw of 122 ft.-9 in.

An uncommon track race took place at the Molly Dry Memorial Invite; the 2,000m steeplechase. The girls winner was Karli Moyer of Northeast Bradford in a time of 8:14.45. The boy's 2,000m steeplechase was won by Ethan Bernstein of Saucon Valley in a time of 6:34.69. 

Also on the track, the boys 1600m was a very close race, where first and second place were separated by .01 seconds. The winner was Isaac Davis of Jersey Shore, who ran 4:34.63 to beat Quinn Serfass of Loyalsock Township.
