Montgomery Memorial Meet - MEET PREVIEW

GIRLS' PREVIEW

Chelenham's Chanel Brissett will return to the hurdles this week, after the senior and her Panthers squad ran three very quick times at the Penn Relays this past week. The Olympic Trials qualifier and her teammate freshman Brianna Smith are the two top seeds in the 100 meter hurdles this Thursday night. Smith is also entered in the high jump.

Brissett is also entered in the 200 meters along with Cheltenham's Alexis Crosby. Crosby is entered in the 400 meters before that with Bria Barnes. The pair are currently PA#2 and PA#3 in the quarter. Expect some quick times from those Panthers.

Springfield-Montco's Sydni Stovall is the top seed in the 800 meters, while VJM's Katie Irelan and Brianna Kling are the top seeds in the 1600 meters.

In the shot put, Neshaimy's Keturah Legette will be the one watch. In the triple jump, top seeds Emily Yemm of Council Rock South and Shannon Nixon of Cheltenham will battle it out for the win. Nixon is the top seed in the long jump.

BOYS' PREVIEW

Springfield-Montco's Eric Westray is the top seed in both the 100 and 200 meters and he'll look to drop a couple of fast times. Holy Ghost Prep's Samuel Huslin will look to continue his strong season, with a good effort in the 300 meter hurdles.

Neshaminy's Rusty Kujdych is the top seed in the 3200 meters. The junior was runner-up at indoor states in the 3000 meters. William Tennent's Matt Kraus will be the one to watch in the 800 meters. A state qualifier in the event indoors, he'll be looking to make moves in the state rankings on his home track.

Bensalem's Yobani Moreno is the top seed in the shot put and the discus. In the javelin, watch for Neshaminy's Hunter Barnett, who's had a strong season in the event.
