Henderson Invitational - Girls' Sprints/Hurdles Preview
The 100 meters has some good talent entered, led by Warwick freshman standout Lily Palacio-Lewis (PA#9). Her teammate Leah Graybill (PA#15) will go up against PA#11 Rebekah Bondi of Perkiomen Valley and PA#12 Grace Lanouette of Conestoga. Palacio-Lewis (PA#11), Graybill (PA#6), and Lanouette (PA#14) all return for the 200 meters later in the meet.
The 100 meter hurdles will be a showdown between PA#5 and PA#6. Downingtown East's Evelyn Berecz has a season best of 14.43, while Perkiomen Valley's Christina Warren ran 14.60 at Unionville last weekend. Who has the advantage this time around?
The in the 300 meter hurdles, DE#1 Taliah Cintron of Padua is the top seed and she'll be looking to better her state lead of 44.65, but Friends' Central's Ava Foreman (PA#16) is also in the field going for a fast time.
In the 400 meters, look for upstart sophomore Rorie Spencer of Abington, who currently sits at PA#10. Bay Shore (NY)'s Nia Singer may be her best competition.
