AA Boys' 4x100m Relay Preview
The reigning champs from Imhotep have moved to AAA this season, leaving the door open for new kings of the AA 4x100 in Pennsylvania. The top seed hails from Hickory, which were victims of a DQ in the final last season. They'll be looking to reverse their fortune this time around with a deep sprint squad that went 42.78 to win the District 10 title.
The WPIAL champs from Aliquippa will be strong, too. They blasted a 42.86 to take the win in Pittsburgh. They should be able to give a good challenge to Hickory.
Don't count out Motivation, the District 12 champs. After a wild collision at their district meet, they were granted a re-run, which they won in 44.20. But they do have a 42.80 to their name this season and they should be in the mix up front. Schuylkill Valley, Bloomsburg, Reynolds, and Avonworth/Northgate are all among the potential medal contenders in what should be a thrilling race that could come down to the anchors.
