PTXC 9 - Girls' Blue Race Preview

We're expecting an intriguing early-season matchup in the girls' Blue Race.
Fresh off a win at Northampton, Oley Valley's Rebecca Snyder (PA#17) will get back on the line at PTXC. She went 18:05 for her first career invitational win, but the senior will be on the hunt for another on Saturday. Can she make it two wins in two weeks?
A pair from Coatesville should give her a good challenge, though. Brooke Hutton and Sammie Miller are strong runners capable of taking the win on Saturday. Hutton, who ran 18:01 as a sophomore, missed most of last season with an injury, but the senior will be a factor this fall after running 10:58 for 3,200 meters in the spring. Miller was 54th in AAA at XC states last year.
Other individuals in the field to keep an eye on include Ridley's Jamie Green, Phillipsburg's Rachel Herrman, Montgomery's Julia Hans, and the Linden Hall duo of Ava and Ella Warfel.
In the team race, Kellenberg Memorial of New York will be favored against Coatesville, Phillipsburg, and Lake Lehman
