Wesley Lavong, a senior from Methacton, will be attending Adams State in Colorado. Lavong will compete in the discus and shot put for Adams State. Wesley won the PTFCA State Championship Shot put with a throw of 62-2. He also won the discus, 164-2, and the shot put, 62-5, at the 2009 Taco Bell Classic.
Neal Berman, a Lower Merion senior, has made the decision to compete for Wisconsin University. He will be joining PA track great Craig Miller (Manheim Township), at the university. Senior year highlights include an 11th place finish at the Footlocker Northeast Regional Championships, a 4th place finish in the 2009 PTFCA State Championships in a time of 8:46.73, a 5th place 5000 run of 15:18.76 at the 2009 NSIC Championships, and an outdoor PR of 8:42.96 in the 3000 at the Penn Relay Carnival.
