PA Sets 3 US#1s In Philly

Saint Joseph's Prep kept rolling in the 4x400-meter relay. The indoor national champions dominated the PCL race, winning in 3:15.56, which is PA#1 by over five seconds. They currently sit at US#17.
Miles Green, part of that SJP 4x4, also PR'd in the 400-meter hurdles earlier in the day, running 52.30 to placed third overall.
The Ephrata boys led the PA charge into the 4x800-meter relay Championship of America. Pennsbury also qualified for the COA. It was there that Ephrata took 7:52.72 for a PA#2. Tyler Shue split 1:52.55 as the leadoff leg.
Harry S. Truman came away as the top PA boys' 4x100-meter relay. Truman placed second in the Northeast final in 41.59 for a new PA#1. Wilson (fourth) and Coatesville (fifth) ran PA#2 and PA#3 respectively in that Northeast race.
Liam Conway of Owen J. Roberts placed fifth in 4:16.10 to finish as the top PA boy. LaSalle's Evan Addison was seventh in 4:16.62. Pre-race favorite Josh Hoey of Bishop Shanahan was was a scratch.
In the 3,000 meters, Neshaminy's Rusty Kujdych took fourth in 8:28.46 and Upper Dauphin's Brenden Miller was tenth in 8:34.22
Seneca Valley took seventh in the DMR Championship of America. The Raiders ran a PA#1 time of 10:19.41 to follow up its indoor state title from the winter. Central Bucks West was ninth in 10:21.14

East Pennsboro's Payton Morris is a Penn Relays champion. The senior cleared 16-04.75, a new PR and PA#2 to give him the win. West Chester Rustin's Charles Dever placed second (16-00.75) and Germantown Academy's Caleb Johnson was third (15-09).
Wyoming Area's Marc Minichello took second in a competitive in the javelin throw. He tossed it 202-02, a new PA#3. Dunmore's Gavin Darcy was fifth and Penn Manor's Alexander Scheivert was sixth.
Milton Hershey's Treyvon Ferguson was the top American boy in the triple jump. The senior jumped 49-03.5 to place third and post a new PA#1. Lance Hamilton of State College Area of took eighth with a PA#2 jump of 47-10.5.
Seneca Valley's Zach Gehm took seventh in the boys' discus, tossing a PA#2 of 173-05 and a new season best.
Lampeter Strasburg's Ezra Mellinger took seventh in the long jump with a leap of 22-11.75, just off his season best in the event.
Kyle Garland of Germantown Academy cleared 6-05 to place seventh in the high jump.
