TRACK EVENTS

  • Saint Joseph's Prep kept rolling in the 4x400-meter relay. The indoor national champions dominated the PCL race, winning in 3:15.56, which is PA#1 by over five seconds. They currently sit at US#17.
  • Miles Green, part of that SJP 4x4, also PR'd in the 400-meter hurdles earlier in the day, running 52.30 to placed third overall.
  • The Ephrata boys led the PA charge into the 4x800-meter relay Championship of America. Pennsbury also qualified for the COA. It was there that Ephrata took 7:52.72 for a PA#2. Tyler Shue split 1:52.55 as the leadoff leg.
  • Harry S. Truman came away as the top PA boys' 4x100-meter relay. Truman placed second in the Northeast final in 41.59 for a new PA#1. Wilson (fourth) and Coatesville (fifth) ran PA#2 and PA#3 respectively in that Northeast race.
  • Liam Conway of Owen J. Roberts placed fifth in 4:16.10 to finish as the top PA boy. LaSalle's Evan Addison was seventh in 4:16.62. Pre-race favorite Josh Hoey of Bishop Shanahan was was a scratch.
  • In the 3,000 meters, Neshaminy's Rusty Kujdych took fourth in 8:28.46 and Upper Dauphin's Brenden Miller was tenth in 8:34.22
  • Seneca Valley took seventh in the DMR Championship of America. The Raiders ran a PA#1 time of 10:19.41 to follow up its indoor state title from the winter. Central Bucks West was ninth in 10:21.14
