Individuals Breakdown: District 12 Boys

D12-AAA Boys- Individuals Breakdown

LaSalle College took the top five spots at districts last year and put its top seven in the top eight. With five varsity returners and a deep JV squad back, the Preseason PA#1 team should dominate the medal-stand at districts again this season.

LaSalle's Vincent Twomey may be the one to beat. He was the Explorers' No. 2 runner for much of last season, including at PCLs and District 12. He was also the sixth man tiebreaker on last year's state title-winning squad. Bradden Koors, a major breakthrough performer last year, will also be in the mix for the individual win. Ethan Maher (fourth at districts last year), Jack Seiberlich (seventh), and Paul Ghantous (eighth) are among the other varsity runners for LaSalle could walk away with the top district spot this season. Look also for some of LaSalle's top JV runners from last year to make a splash; they dominated the sub-varsity races at PCLs last year.

The top non-LaSalle returner in AAA is Saint Joseph's Prep's Ricky Raup. The rising junior was ninth at districts last year and will look to break up that LaSalle front pack this season. Raup's Prep teammate Joe Cahill and Father Judge's Shane Curran are among the other boys that will shoot for individual state spots this season.
