Individuals Breakdown: District 7 Boys

D7-AA Boys - Individuals Breakdown

There are plenty of talented returners in D7-AA this season and it will produce a great battle for the top individual spot, as well as crucial team points.

The favorites are the Greensburg Salem duo of Mark Brown and Cameron Binda, along with Indiana Area's Kendall Branan. Branan was second at districts to Sam Snodgrass and went on to take 11th at states.

Brown is the top returner based on states finish. After a third place districts finish, he placed eighth at states. Binda was fourth at districts and then 19th at states. Binda went 4:18 this spring for 1,600 meters, while Brown dropped a 4:21. Dylan Binda, also from GS, is another one to keep an eye on. He also ran 4:21 this spring after a strong XC season, where he was 34th at states.

Quaker Valley's Daniel Ford took sixth at districts last year. Look for the rising junior to try and put himself in the mix with the top guys this season. Uniontown's Sam Killinger and Indiana's Joey Bujdos are among the others to watch for this fall in D7-AA.
