Conestoga's Liz Costello is relatively new to this level of racing, but it certainly isn't fazing her in the least. Usually there are a few Foot Locker finalists to come out of the Mid-East Regional Championships, and this year should be no exception. Costello finished a strong 3rd to Ohio star Bridget Franek and Michigan's Kellee Lemcke, running 18:29.10. The next PA finisher was Shikellamy's Lindsey Scheller, 18th in 19:13.40. PA placed 4th among the six teams with 84 points. Ohio won with 51. In the boys' race, Hatboro Horsham's Josh Hibbs was 7th in 15:55.10, leading the PA team to a 3rd place finish with 64 points. Ohio was the winner in this one as well with 47 points.
