Mars, Center and Riverview each placed two runners in the top ten, and each finished the race with official five scorers at 77 points, but Mars got the nod on the basis of their sixth runner, who was 27th. Ali Briggs of Washington won the race in 21:17. Brentwood junior Andrew Pope won the race in 18:12, but his team finished 2nd to Northgate by 12 points. Northgate was led by Peter Stahl, 5th in 18:54.
