Fort Cherry graduate Jenna Lucas was recognized by MileSplit for her 2014 season by being named on the All American javelin team! Lucas was excellent this season, winning all six meets she entered. In five of those six meets, Lucas threw over 140 feet and in two of those meets, she broke the 150 foot mark. Her best throw of the season came at the District 7 South Section qualifier, where she threw a US#6 mark and personal best of 157-4! Proving that her big throw wasn't a fluke, she went to states and broke the 150 foot mark with her championship winning throw of 153-5. Lucas heads to college as a two time PIAA state champion and will be competing at the University of Central Florida next season.
Congratulations Jenna!
