The State College boys held off rival Altoona by two points to win the Mountain Athletic Conference title. Penns Valley's Jud Brooker was the only guy under 17 at Indian Valley Middle School in the Mountain Athletic Conference Championships. State College, behind the 7th place finish of Peter Crowe in 17:54, won the team title with 66 points. Altoona was 2nd, two points back.
