The top five returners in the senior class are full of champions, with the chase pack ready to have a big final season.
Brianna Schwartz of Shaler Area was 5th at states and a Foot Locker Finalist. She set the indoor mile state record twice and she repeated as 1600 meter champion outdoors. State cross country gold is the last thing missing on her list of accomplishments. AAA 3200 meter state champion Marissa Sheva of Pennridge has the same target in mind as well. After a roller coaster 2013-14, Sheva will be ready to steady the ship this season. Team champion runners Olivia Young and Gretchen Mills of Unionville will look for another strong season to help out in the defense of their title.
