The Second Annual U.A.G.T.C.A. Invitational is Heating Up!
The United Age Group Track Coaches Association (www.uagtca.org) is having their 2nd Annual Invitational at Northeast HS in Philadelphia, PA. The 3- day meet is set for Fri., June 29th thru Sun., July 1st.
This meet is open to any athletes ages 8 –18. USATF or AAU membership is NOT required. PennTracXC will be onsite for this meet and will also supply updates to Dyestat.com. The competition will be fierce…. and we will provides updates on HS-ers and even middle school athletes that have met the HS elite rankings. Youth Runner Magazine is also a sponsor and will provide highlights on the younger athletes. Comcast Cable will provide “On- Demand” coverage of portions of the meet, so all bases and ages are covered!
So who’s gonna be there? Commitments have been made from athletes in PA, NJ, DE, VA, OH, and NY. So far the confirmations suggest the competition will be fierce. A few HS-ers you may have heard of…….

Vanessa Mack- PA State 3rd place- 200m; 2006 AAU National Champion- Youth Girls (age 13-14)- 4x400m relay, 200m PR- 25.33

English Gardner- NJ State Outdoor Champion- 100m- 11.62 ; 2nd place 200m – 24.11 ; 2006 USATF National Jr. Olympic Champion 100m- 11.95 and 200m- 23.81 (tied National Youth record of Bianca Knight); 400m time of 53.98- run at the 2006 UAGTCA Invitational
Kashif Moore- 2nd place NJ MOC- 100m- 10.62; LJ- 22-08 PR; 200m PR- 22.02
Antonio Abney- 100m PRs - 11.01 and 400m PR- 46.96 both came during this May at the NJ sectionals, also has a PR of 21.75 in the 200m
Dominique Booker- 100m PR- 12.06; 200m PR- 25.03
Asja Goode- 400m PR- 58.49; 200m PR- 26.28; 100m PR- 12.30
