Cocalico's Emily Stauffer won her second indoor state championship last winter in the shot put. At the Lebanon Valley HS Invitational last year, she threw her PR of 47-10, giving her the top mark heading into the 2016 season. She's a senior this year and she'll be looking to cap off her excellent career with another state crown.
Also returning this year is Kutztown's Jocelen Ruth, who was fourth in the state indoors a year ago. Ruth was second outdoors in both the shot and the discus. She'll certainly be a contender. Garnet Valley's Nina Gambacorta is also back. The senior took fifth indoors last season in the shot indoors and has the third best returning distance.
