Downingtown West junior Aislinn Devlin added another honor to her already impressive XC season.

Devlin was named 2015-16 Gatorade Pennsylvania Cross Country Runner of the Year joining the likes of Brianna Schwartz, Tessa Barrett and Courtney Smith among others as recipients of the award. This all comes on the heels of a stellar cross country campaign in which Devlin earned all-state and all-American honors.

Devlin won at the Carlisle Invitational and then took the Ches-Mont League Championship. At Lehigh, she won the District One AAA title with a time of 17:24 before finishing second to Pennsbury's Olivia Sargent at the PIAA State Championships in Hershey.

Then at Nike Cross Regionals in New York, Devlin won the Northeast individual crown. At Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Oregon, Devlin became an all-American with an impressive ninth place finish in a personal best time of 17:22 for 5K.
