Pole vaulting sisters Courtney and Lindsay Regan got started in the Pole Vault because of older sister Katie, who was on the high school team at Easton. But at a tough school like Cornell, Katie had to quit the track team her freshman year because of school demands. It sounded like a plan, but she missed the team atmosphere her sophomore year, and over last summer decided to give the Pole Vault a try. A few lessons later, after lots of work and a meeting with the coach, and she was back on the team in a different event. It started to pay off last Saturday at the Cornell Open, when she cleared 10-00 for the first time, winning the competition. Here comes another Regan!
