Downingtown West enters the DMR as the top seed after a huge
race at the Varsity Classic in The Armory. But it appears the Whippets won't be
racing an 'A' team at Penn State, as the Hoey's are not listed on the
performance list. That, of course, leaves the door open for a new top dog. There are a lot of candidates for that spot.
Pennridge, Central Bucks West, an Central Bucks East make up a well-represented SOL presense in the event. CB West should have good rest from their first event of the day-the 4x800. CB East, however, if Jake Brophy is on the team, will have to deal with Brophy running a hard 3000 beforehand. Pennridge has Tucker Desko coming off the mile earlier in the day.

Germantown Friends is another team to watch. They haven't raced too much this season, but they've made the most of it when they have. They dropped a 10:31 up in Yale, and like CB West, should have ample rest time before the DMR goes off.
Cardinal O'Hara, West Chester Henderson, and Carlisle should also contend up front. Look out for some surprises in the field as well, as the DMR is shaping up to be one of the more wide open events of the day.
