The Cheltenham girls put on a dominating performance as a team at states on Sunday. At the center of their team championship was their always deep sprint team. In the 4x200, the team made history breaking their own state meet record which was set a year ago.
The team of Alexis Crosby, Bria Barnes, Brielle Lewis, and Chanel Brissett had near perfect exchanges at every go around and flew to a 1:39.48 for the record. It's always a US#5. Keep in mind, this breaks the meet record of the 2015 Panthers' 4x200 that went on the set the all-time state mark at New Balance Indoor Nationals a few weeks later. Can this year's team top that 1:38.64?
