It may be cliché "coach-speak" when they say to bring it on the day that it counts. But that typically seems to be the way it goes in the high jump. And with a field as closely matched as the AAA girls' high jump, it couldn't be truer that you have to bring it on the day that counts most.

Four girls in the field have cleared 5-7 or better. Moira O'Malley of Souderton was the indoor state champ and the PA AAA #1 after clearing 5-9.25 at the SOL Continental Championships. But O'Malley took third at District 1. Valerie Przekop of CB South won at District 1. She has a season best of 5-7.5. Dallas' Katie Kravitsky has twice cleared 5-7 this season, including a District 2 record setting effort. Stroudsburg's Brittany Hewitt has also cleared 5-7.

Others to watch in this deep field are Indiana's Jessica Stever, Plymouth Whitemarsh's Taylor O'Brien, and Parkland's Morgan Sherwin.
