There are two strong favorites in the AA triple jump.

Lindsay Bauer of Salisbury leads the charge after a big PR jump of 38-8 to win the District 11 title. If Bauer can replicate that performance, she'll be tough to beat. Bauer was eighth in the event in 2015.

Fort Cherry's Koryn Jozwiakowski is the top returner from last year's state meet. The senior has a season best of 38-6, and she appears to be in good form after winning the District 7 title this past week.

Lakeland's Brooke Estadt is the only other returning medalist from a year ago. The junior jumped her season best of 36-4.5 to win the District 2 title last week. Pine Grove's Maddie Frew was second to Bauer at District 11 and should be a factor in the triple jump (in addition to the hurdles).

Penn Cambria's Lauren Michina, Lansdale Catholic's Kiki Jefferson, and Bishop Guilfoyle's Preslee Litzinger will be others in the field to watch for.
