Boys' Top 5 Class-AAA Teams

---|---|---|
1 | Carlisle | The Herd have the low sticks in the Affolders, who could score a combined 3 points at the state meet between the two of them, but the depth will be the question. Isaac Kole is a potential state medalist, but a lot rests on the 4 and 5 runners. |
2 | Downingtown West | The Whippets lost their top three from last year (one of the best top threes the state has ever seen), but still managed to retool into a top team this year. Shaun Bullock, Drew Alansky, and Jake O'Neill have made great strides to lead this squad that was just off Carlisle on two occasions this year. |
3 | Council Rock North | CR North always comes around this time of year. They put together a great race at William Tennent to easily defeat a solid group of teams. Don't be surprised to see a couple of individual state medalists out of this squad. |
4 | LaSalle College | 12th at Manhattan behind Carlisle and Downingtown West. The PIAA Foundation Champs will see rivals O'Hara over the coming weeks before another dual at Hershey. Evan Addison and Stephen Paul are a strong 1-2. |
5 | Cardinal O'Hara | The Briarwood and DELCO champs are strong up front. The question mark for them is the 4 and 5 spots, but Jack Becker and Billy Donovan both went sub-17 in the rain at Rose Tree, so that's a good sign. The PCL and District 12 battle with LaSalle will be ones to watch. |
