PA performances at NIC - Rademacher, Regan raise state records in Pole Vault, Hatboro wins 4x800

At the Nike Indoor Classic in Landover, there were a host of good performances by PA athletes. For the girls, Lindsay Regan (Easton, PA) got 2nd place in the pole vault with a 12-09.5. Lindsay also competed at NSIC in New York and won with a leap of 12-05.2. Her MD effort set a new PA Indoor State Record. Hatboro Horsham's girls won the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 9:13.93. Angela Wells (Philadelphia, PA) placed 3rd in the long jump with a distance of 18-03.25. Angela also competed at the NSIC and got 2nd with a jump of 19-02.00. Krista Simkins (Ambler, PA) got 2nd in the 400 with a time of 55.22. Latavia Thomas (Philadelphia, PA) took 3rd in the 800 with a time of 2:14.51. Adriene Beltz (Hamburg, PA) got 7th in the 2 mile with a time of 10:55.91.

For the boys at the NIC, Andrew Rademacher (Hickory) won the pole vault with a 16-08.00. That raised his PA Indoor State Record for the 5th time this season. In the mile run Chris Spooner (Lewisburg, PA) was 3rd with a time of 4:14.67. Council Rock North was able to lock down 2nd place in the 4xmile with a time of 18:22.16. Juan Cave (Philadelphia, PA) was 2nd in the high jump with a leap of 6-10.75. Auston Papay (Sharon, PA) was 1st in the shot put with a throw of 62-06.75.
