It's been a busy start to the winter for Armonte Paulk of Hill-Freedman World Academy. The senior had a breakout season this past spring in outdoor track where he won a state title in the AA 200 meters.
Now Paulk is riding that momentum into indoor track. He had a big day at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival. He ran a PA#2 6.49 in the 55 meter finals. Then in the 400 meters, Paulk became the first PA boy under 50 seconds in the event.
In a very fast race all around, Eric Allen Jr. of Bullis (MD) dropped a US#4 48.28 for the win and Uniondale's Christopher Borzor ran 48.84. For Paulk, it was also a US#11. The season is still young, and we're looking forward to seeing how Paulk progresses through the rest of the winter.
