Gray goes 139-04 for a PR in the Discus. There were meet records dropping at every turn. While those were impressive, there were marks that will have an impact on both the state and national levels. Junior thrower Tayvon Gray had the best day of her scholastic career, beginning with a 139-04 Discus, and finishing with a 41-06 Shot Put. Also in the field, Octorora's Ryan Fritz cleared 6-08 to make the PA High Jump leader board three-deep at the top. Haverford, without Fiona York, posted a 9:36.70 4x800. And Great Valley won the 4x400 by a nose over Conestoga, 4:03.37 to 4:03.71, plus the Shuttle Hurdles in 1:08.67. Glen Mills starts well on the way to a 3:21.39 4x400 win. In the boys races, Glen Mills was all over the sprint circuits, taking the 4x200 in 1:29.2 and the 4x400 in 3:21.39. (Splits are in the results for the Girls Shuttle Hurdles, 4x400, plus the boys 4x1600, 4x800 and DMR). In all, the girls broke 10 of a possible 16 records, while the boys bettered four.
