Camp Hill will look to keep the District 3 Class A title in house this fall. CH ran to the D3-A crown last season and with it, the lone state qualifying spot allotted to the district. Julia Raich, Kaitlyn Vorkapich, and Laura Sakol return from last year's team. Three seniors have graduated from last year's team that took ninth at states, but Camp Hill still may be the team the beat here.
York Catholic was just two points off Camp Hill for the district title last year, but four seniors, including the team's top two, have graduated from last year's team. This team will look to rebuild this year and will hope to be a factor come late October.
That seems to be the name of the game for a lot of team's in D3-A: replenishing losses from the senior classes from last year. Kutztown Area (third in '17), Susquenita (fourth in '17), Fairfield Area (fifth in '17), and Delone Catholic (sixth in '17) will all have work to do this season to compete for that top spot, but may have a strong enough core for now.
