Girls 1600m: Grace Forbes (Strath Haven) - 4:45.27
Forbes has long proved her 800 meter prowess, but the senior showed off her mile digs at DELCOs at Upper Darby on Saturday. Forbes dropped a PR of over 9 seconds in the 1600 meters to take the county title. That's a PA No. 1 by 3 seconds and a sign that Forbes is likely in the best shape of her career as we head into the districts and states season.
She also ran 2:11.38 to win the 800 meters, a PA No. 2 time. She's hitting her stride at the right time.
