Coming into the state meet, it figured to be a close matchup between Coatesville, Central Dauphin East, and State College Area. By the end of the day State College racked up the most points behind some big wins and plenty of depth to go around.

On Friday, SC put up some big points with a pair of big wins. Lance Hamilton leapt to the win in the triple jump in 49-6, which was then followed by Luke Knipe taking the victory in the pole vault at 16 feet (David Wasson was sixth in the PV). Both Hamilton and Knipe followed up those wins with good efforts in the long jump; Hamilton was second and Knipe took sixth.

Lokey Howell and Zachary DeCarmine placed in the hurdles (Howell was fourth in the 110s and DeCarmine was eighth in the 300s), and the SC 4x8 placed eighth. In the high jump, Conrad Moore took a key third place finish in a deep field. It was an overall effort by the Little Lions to capture the team title by 7 points.

Coatesville gave the Little Lions a good run, though. On Friday, Naheem Moore started things off well with a big PR (48-00) and second place finish to Hamilton in the triple jump. The Raiders picked up Saturday wins in the 4x100 (in a new state record time) and the high jump with Ousman Kamara clearing 6-8. Dymere Miller, who anchored the winning 4x1, was third in the 200, and Ricky Ortega was fifth in the javelin. Coatesville threw everything it had at State College on Saturday, but the Little Lions were able to stave off defeat.

CD East was strong as well. The Panthers got wins from Shawn Brown (100 meters) and Emmanuel Niang (110 meter hurdles) and then second place finishes by the 4x100 meter relay and Stephon Brown in the 400 meters. East racked up 36 points for a close third place.
