Watch Upper Darby Drop A Flat Track Sub-1:31 In The 4x2

The Upper Darby boys had already made a big statement over the weekend. Then, midweek, the Royals solidified themselves as a major force in the relays this season.

At Wednesday's Delco Indoor Championships at Ursinus College, Upper Darby ran away with the win in a time of 1:30.96, four and a half seconds ahead of second place and nearly two seconds better than Glen Mills' meet record of 1:32.84 set in 2016.

Upper Darby got out to the early lead and it was smooth sailing from there, rolling to the victory in a PA No. 3, which converts to the state's fastest time on the season. Ursinus is a flat track and most of the state's top times have come on banked tracks.

Wednesday's performance comes on the heels of UD's PA No. 1 in the 4x400 meter relay at the Ocean Breeze Invitational, where it won with a 3:22.95. It's been a big five days for the Royals.
