
Who will be the jumpers and vaulters to watch this year in PA on the boys' side?
High Jump: A pair of AAA state medalists from 2019 are back this season in what should be a good year in the boys high jump. State College's Conrad Moore, who cleared 6-9 as a sophomore to win the Mid-Penn title, was third at the state meet and is back in his senior season. Warwick's Nate Good, who cleared 6-8.25 as a sophomore, is also back. He was fourth at the state meet. LaSalle's Tommy Christie cleared 6-7 two years ago and should also be a factor in the high jump in what should be a competitive AAA competition.
In AA, the one to watch is 2020 indoor state champion Logan Pfister of Chestnut Ridge, who emerged in a big way last winter. As a sophomore, though, he was eighth outdoors. He jumped 6-6.5 outdoors as a sophomore and then as a junior indoors, he cleared 6-9. Youngsville's Jake Hogg jumped 6-6 two years ago outdoors and will also be a factor.
