The 2021 Pennsylvania MileSplit50 Preseason Rankings have arrived.
PennTrackXC has ranked the top teams and individuals in the state for the upcoming 2021 cross country season. This is our take on the best teams and runners in the state. We ranked the top 25 individuals and top 10 teams regardless of classification, in addition to the top 5 teams in PIAA Class AA and PIAA Class A.
These rankings are subjective and take into account all available data. Performances at last year's state meet are weighed heavily, while quality and consistency of performance, track performance, and program history, among other factors are considered. These are different than the state-based "objective" rankings that PennTrackXC we released during the summer.
Editor's Note: Because the Friends League did not compete last season, there will be no preseason rankings for the independent school teams. Independent schools will be included in the weekly rankings once there is enough data.
