The indoor season got underway on a frigid weekend in PA with the Delaware Valley girls on Friday night and the Philly-area boys on Saturday.

TFCAofGP Division 1: That's where  Carlton Lavong got off to a flying start in the long jump, setting a venue record at Haverford College of 23-11, breaking the 2008 record set by Central Bucks South's Vince Formica. Tom Kehl of Father Judge broke nine minutes to win the 3000 in 8:58.92 to edge North Penn's Sam Bernitt (9:00.49). Chaz Wilkes of Cardinal O'Hara opened his sophomore season with a thow of 51-06.00 to win te shot put. Kevin Caporiccio of Council Rock South cleared 6-03 to win the high jump. Evan Emery of Central ran 23.18 to win the 200 meters. Abington won the 4x400 with a time of 3:32.17 and Central Bucks West ran 8:16.60 to edge out Cheltenham (8:20.44) in the 4x800.
