Ryan Pajak will go down as the first repeat winner of the season, while Kletz marks the 15th different individual to win the honor this year.

Pajak nearly broke his own course record at Mingo Creek despite the muddy conditions. He ran 15:18 to win the Mingo Classic as he out dueled Brett Kroboth. The two battled early before Pajak attacked the back hills and came away with the victory. 

Pajak is readying himself for a run at WPIALs and then eventually at the state meet. Winning the Mingo Classic, certainly helps him build momentum for those moments.

Harley Kletz also became a Champion last week. She won the MAC Championship, running at the front by herself. She soared to a 54-second margin of victory, completing the 5K course in 19:03. 

Additionally, she led her team to the championship title as Montour continues to gain momentum heading into the post-season.
